Improve Your Stamina and Dance All Night!

If I was a betting woman, I would bet that most everyone wishes they could boogie down like they did when they were kids and not wake-up the next day to regret it. How can we stay “youthful” enough to dance away our cares into the night like we are 18 again??? Follow these sure fire tips to improving your stamina so you can party like its 2013!

1. Do more Pilates to build endurance!

You knew I was going to say that, right?! But seriously, a safe, well-rounded, controlled work out on a consistent basis is the only way to build stamina to stay on the dance floor all night long. Pilates helps balance your muscles, build strength and maintain bone density which are all important to keep you well balanced and in great shape for the party!
2. Don’t leave the House hungry!

Proper fuel is essential to keeping your well oiled machine (your body); going into the wee-hours of the night.  So don’t forget to stock your body full of protein, healthy carbs (no starchy/ sugary sweets), and lots of water. Plus, if you’re heading out to a party, chances are there won’t be a lot of healthy options so don’t arrive hungry!

3. Have water throughout the night!

You have to replenish your tank. Nothing slows you faster than dehydration so be sure you’re drinking plenty of water especially if you’re throwing back a few cocktails that night too. Alcohol can further dehydrate so balance it out with equal amounts of water.

Keep all these things in mind and you’ll be a dancing machine for many more years to come!
